The Plot

Brooklyn

The Good The Bad are neither just good, nor bad & they’re definitely not ugly. They’re three Danish desperados, bringing the finest New School Surf & Flamenco to the worthy masses.

In fact, their hip-shaking dirty cool has been increasing the birth-rate in Denmark by the day ever since their own explosive
conception four years ago.

In Summer 2009, after more atmospheric appearances at Liverpool Sound City, Hop Farm Festival and a Harley Davidson
Rally in Latvia, The Good The Bad headlined THE KILLERS aftershow party after their Royal Albert Hall gig in London.

“It is hard to ignore the fact that the band write great quality rock songs” DROWNED IN SOUND

When they’re not touring Europe, The Good The Bad can be found blowing the faces off people in their native city of Copenhagen, where they’ve impressed the more established underground scene and gained a firm fan-base:

“There is no one taking an audio pipeline as TGTB do. Their sound is simply filthy, raw, brash and charming. We are going
to hear and see a lot more of these three great talents in the future.”
JOKEREN, METRO NEWSPAPER, DENMARK

The Good The Bad ended 2009 with a raucous finale in London, announcing their first record deal with Stray Cat Records and a
sold out EP release party at Whoreditch, Brick Lane. TGTB also celebrated their first licensing deals with fashion brand MERC,
playing an exclusive in-store show at their flagship Carnaby Street store. Before returning to Denmark the band produced
their first radio session at Diesel U:Music Radio in amongst some rave press reviews before bowing out with a live video session for eyeseesound.tv

“Two guitars, some drums and a dangerous amount of pent up energy. This is a band that must be seen live. Not should. Must.” CMU DAILY

TGTB includes Adam Olsson (Baby Woodrose, The Setting Son) on lead guitar, Johan Lei Gellett (Baby Woodrose, Kira
and the Kindred Spirits) on drums and Manoj Ramdas (The Raveonettes, SPEkTR) on baritone guitar.

“We don’t have a singer because we couldn’t find one that would stand behind the drummer. But we don’t need a vocalist anyway. The music speaks for itself. We use the music so we don’t have to say I Love You” ADAM OLSSON / TGTB

2010 saw TGTB explode in to Berlin, Barcelona and London as well as BY:LARM showcase festival in Oslo and SXSW in Texas where they played showcases alongside Wayne Kramer (MC5), Billy Bragg and Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters).

"The best band at SXSW 2010 by a mile" Wayne Kramer- MC5
"I thought they fucking rocked." Chris Shiflett - Foo Fighters

In October they released their debut album ‘From 001 To 017’ in Europe with a live radio session with John Kennedy on Xfm London,  coinciding with their latest video success ‘agirlcalled030.com’, which achieved over 1,000,000 views  in less than one month, helped on its way by Dave Navarro and Tommy Lee on Twitter.

"I love them, I think they're great. It's so simple yet at the same time it's so involved and there's so much to it. They're amazing musicians and they rock. That's the bottom line. They rock." John Kennedy - Xfm

The Good The Bad rounded off 2010 supporting BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB in Copenhagen, Frankfurt and Paris and are now working on releasing their second album in 2011.

“Those who associate Denmark with the ambient noodling of Efterklang or Our Broken Garden had better start thinking again....”
